Company History
In 2000, Mid Western Compressor Supplies Inc. was created to support the mother company Mid Western Machine Works Inc. Compressor Supplies was created to focus the company in two different directions, one company to focus on the Oil & Gas Compression industry specifically and Mid Western Machine Works to play the supporting role to Compressor Supplies as a Large Capacity Machine shop capable of fast turn around times and top quality machining, there by making Compressor Supplies a one-stop-shop.
Compressor Supplies head office is located just off 84th Street in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Our success drove management to decide to build a brand new facility with lots of yard space to store our inventory of new and used equipment. This facility has 10,000 sq ft of shop space and the ability to work on compressor packages right in our shop, this allows our staff to turn around repairing and reconditioning work quickly. We also have 90,000 sq ft of yard storage that is often filled with product.
In 2003, Mid Western Compressor Supplies opened its second branch in Edmonton to provide better service to the northern half of the Province. The Edmonton branch has been growing significantly since its doors opened. We have 8,000 sq ft of shop space, providing not only service for the Oil & Gas Compression industry, but also providing general and custom machining, field lubrication services and metalizing services. Along with their parts storage and the close proximity to Calgary for support, aids in servicing the northern market.
Now that Mid Western's group of companies is a one-stop-shop for the Oil & Gas Industry, we can supply our clients with the ability to take an existing compressor shed and rebuild all the components from the engine to the compressor. Mid Western Compressor Supplies stores parts, warehouses inventory and provides a reconditioning service second to none. With Mid Western branches in all major cities in Alberta, Mid Western Group of Companies can service much more of the Province.
